Your Sweet Kiss

As we near the end of the dance,
I know that this is my only chance.
To take your hand and show you,
That my feelings are so true.
As the DJ plays the final song,
I know that I don’t have long.
I want to tell you how I feel,
But the timing doesn’t seem ideal.
Not wanting this moment to pass,
I decided to take my chance at last.
I lean in with such tender bliss,
And you met me half way with your sweet kiss.
