"Remember Me"
At the sign in screen,
You type in your name,
A password or pin of some sort.
And at the bottom,
Often ignored,
Is a tiny box with two words.
“Remember Me?”
If only we could check this box for our lives.
Check the box,
Bang.
You’re remembered.
It doesn’t work like that though.
So when I’m gone,
Remember me,
For not backing down.
Remember me,
For my loyalty.
Remember me,
For my dreams.
Remember me,
Maybe for my quirks.
Just Remember Me.
