My Name
My name is Kayla,
That is so,
It has 5 letters,
And that I do know,
The meaning is lovable,
But why isn’t it true,
I’m not loved,
I’m used and abused,
My mom and grandma named me
Back in 96,
And that I’m sure I’ll never forget,
My middle name “Brianne”
Came from my grandma,
When people say my name,
I think of the rain,
All of the drowned memories,
That still remains,
This feeling doesn’t hurt,
It’s more like numb,
But I am a Taurus,
I am,
Patient and reliable,
Warmhearted and Loving,
But I can also be,
Jealous and Possessive,
Resentful and greedy,
But no matter what I will always be,
Kayla,
That is who I am,
At least till I find,
A kind and healthy man,
Who wants to be mine.
