Scrape of the chair across the floor
the "thud-thud" of the desk as I sit
Scrambling for a pen, the crinkle of paper
"Pant-pant" I can hardly catch my breath
Words whisper in the air
Turning twirling,
A heartbeat matches every syllable
"Thump-thump"
Flowing,growing, a crescendo
Words sing in my ear
The pen touches paper
and the symphony begins
