Fall once more
Try again
Sara watched you ride a bike
Skin your knee
And start to cry
Sara watched you learn to read
Go to school
Start to lead
Sara watched you graduate
And heard the news
Of your wife’s due date
Sara watched you raise your child
Growing older
Give up the wild
Sara watched you then retire
Settle down
Loose the fire
Sara watched you close your eyes
Slip away
Into the skies
