I find it difficult
To let others in.
My whole life I’ve been judged,
People looking on the outside,
And not within.
Words of hate carved in my brain
Like ancient markings engraved in a tomb
Then I realize
This hate doesn’t come from
The outside word
It comes from deep inside myself ,
From a place in my heart,
With a need to be filled.
