Three Feet of Silence
Can you hear me?
No.
A wall,
three feet thick,
divides us.
But there is no us.
Just you
and your trophy.
That's all I am
or ever will be.
Hidden behind that three feet
of awkward silence.
It's your fault.
You are overbearing,
controlling,
vindictive,
manipulating,
and soul sucking.
You don't care about anything.
I pout.
You pretend not to notice.
I cry.
You wonder what the reason is.
I cut.
You label me insane.
Am I?
Maybe...
But people do drastic things,
to try and shatter
the three foot thick wall.
That divides us.
You,
and me.
