Stop Loving You
When grass isn't green and trees don't grow,
When the moon loses its soft, pale glow,
When the stars no longer shimmer and shine,
When two points can't form a line.
Well that's the day. The day I'll stop loving you.
When snow becomes warm and the sun doesn't rise,
When tears don't come from crying eyes,
When dogs don't bark and children don't play,
When fish start walking and horses don't neigh.
Well that's the day. The day I'll stop loving you.
When giraffes are short and dust bunnies hop,
When muddy rags are used to mop.
When all food is healthy and all schools are gone,
When the moon begins to rise at dawn.
Well that's the day. The day I'll stop loving you.
When pigs can fly and people don't die and nobody's shy and water gets dry and hello means bye and everyone knows the square root of pi. Then and only then will I stop loving you.
