Nature's War
Raw stars bleed light,
From the gaping wounds of night.
A waxy moon is swathed all in white,
It bulges though it’s bandaged tight.
Brooding clouds chase each other and bite
At the trees blowing like a kite.
This is the end of the fight,
Between night and day and dark and light.
