Abyss of Grief

Tears drip
from the sky;
tears of anger
and sorrow,
left behind
by the grieving
lives.
Oh why
must the world
suffer from living?
Oh why
should the world
survive death?
Oh why
do the guilty souls
refuse to shrink
into the abyss?
An abyss
of unknown depths
filled with impenetrable
bubbles and gentle seahorses;
remnants of the grieving
Dead.
