The author's comments:
This is the third in a series of four poems based on the Black Dahlia and Lipstick Murders of the 1940s in the cities of Los Angeles and Chicago. I thought it'd be a nice challenge to take such dark events in history, especially these serial killings, and attempt to transform them into a work of literature.
