I'm no artist
No music marker
I'm just a kid with a pencil and paper
I'm no singer
Or maker of rhymes
Just a girl with to much time
Don't know where I'm going
Or what to do with my life
Not the greatest
Or the best
Nothing to set me apart from the rest
But I'll keep trying
Because it's what I know
Maybe one day my efforts will show
But I'm no artist
No music maker
Just a kid with a pencil and paper

The author's comments:
When people look at me and see my writing stories, poems, music, or just drawing, they see it as a hobbie, and I did to till recently, then I realized that this was my life. There was nothing else that I truly knew as well as this and nothing that made feel happier or safer. But I saw how well everyone else in the world was compared to me and I stopped thinking I could make it. Well I'm back to believing and I'm back with my pencil and my paper.

i really like this piece, because it's somthing that i can really relate to. Recently I posted an article called "The Letters that Write Themselves" and I think you'd like it. I always look at a blank piece of paper as if it has a great amount of potential.
