be measured by the length
of computer wire
And present in the hum
that goes on forever
like the beating of my heart
The clacking of keys
that is heard on both ends
makes us one,
makes us whole
But it is really
the path of the arrow
on my brightly glowing screen
as I trace your words
that points out the strong bond
between us
