If nothing else, believe in art.

The very breath I breathe is no longer mine,
I lost that “privilege” long ago,
Everything I am, belongs to Jesus,
I am His from head to toe.
After all, I’m only human,
Made from the ground on which He stood,
So who am I, to claim myself?
And how would that do any good?
Some would say, that I’m wasting time,
on a thing beyond my grasp,
they want to focus on the here and now,
but the here and now won’t last..
Don’t call me foolish, because you’ve yet to understand,
this truth that I carry inside,
That God’s only son, the only blameless one,
took the blame for all of us, the day He died.
