Are You Still Strong, My Mother?
You watch me smile
As I watch you slip away
 I promise I’ll do better
If you promise me you'll stay
 You're always there for me
 But who is beside you?
Are you still strong, my mother?
Please tell me this is true.
 I’m living for you, mom
 You’re forever my anchor
But am I a good enough reason as well?
 What are you living for?
Go sleep in bed for a bit if you wish
But don’t sleep forever in a casket
 Mom, we’re fine, I’m better
So why are your cheeks still wet?
