finally it's almost time to go to war
almost the end of school
almost the end of all this testing
finally the day is coming

as the seniors will say
woo ray we are finally done
but I'm happy just for the summer
because I know the upcoming fall will be my season to play

the smell of the fresh cut grass we play on
the mixture of the crowd, cheerleaders and the band that gets me hype
i cant wait to feel the contact
the hard work i put in my sophomore and freshmen year
as i become a uprising junior i am also a vet so its time to turn up

as we countdown to that first Friday night
i put on my equipment and lace up my cleats
I'm getting ready for the war like its WW3
finally its football time
