Favorite Quote:
“Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves, vanity to what we would have others think of us.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

There is no reason
Behind love
No real reasoning
When falling
It is completely
And utterly
Not a choice
And it is irresistible and irrevocable
Whether it may crush
Or whether it may heal
It will never leave you

Love is like a weight
That presses upon your heart
Suppressing
Until it pops
A balloon
It drips hot acid
raining, scarring
Burning soft tissue
With it's angry fingers
Hell-bent
On destroying
All happiness
Determined to burn it
Into gray ashes
A mountain of silver ashes
