Ice and Sun
Part one
 Ice in his veins,
 Stone of a heart.
 No love of the world,
As he rides in his cart.
 Why does he hate
 This world that surrounds?
Does he save up his malice
 To unleash on the town?
 Alone in his house
 He sits, does he weep?
 What kind of pain
 His company keeps?
 I’ll ne’er understand
 The man made of stone,
 He’ll never understand me.

 Part two
 Noodles for brains,
 Too soft a heart.
 He smiles at me
as I pass in my cart.
 Why does he love
 This world that surrounds?
Does he save up his madness
 To unleash on the town?
 In his too crowded house
 He sits with his friends.
 Never does he worry
How he’s going to meet ends!
 Does he not care
 How much money he gives?
 Poor as a pauper,
 That’s how he lives.
 I’ll ne’er understand
 The fool made of gold.
 He‘ll never understand me.
