Summer Night
It's dark and cold one summer night
Amongst the trees and bramble
Lay a single flower
Dripping love stained water
Along the river of the lost and forgotten
It's sorrow creeps through the shadows
And finds whomever is around that night
They silently cry, tears rolling down their face
As they are reminded of the better days
When they were young and free
Frolicking through the flowers
Where there was no such thing as envy
And everyone played happily
Tonight they wish and hope
Those days would soon come back
But they are lost forever
Flowing down the river
