I Know What You Are Going Through
I know what you are going through
You don’t want to believe the truth.
It’s a horrible memory in your youth.
I know what you are going through.
This horrible burden is with you forever.
You try to forget with a constant endeavor.
I know what you are going through.
You brace yourself for the view the body,
Afterwards, an excuse to use the potty
To let out all the hidden tears.
Somebody on the outside hears.
Comfort you in your time of sorrow.
I know what you are going through.
And this is nothing new.
You are in denial of your grief.
But in the end there is a sudden relief.
Because Life does go on in sickness and in health,
In the good times and the bad.
You will never get over this,
But you will cope and move past.
You are doing great now.
So get up and go out.
Your friends will help you
Get you mind off the trauma
That was the death of your grand mama
I know what you are going through.
Because I have been there too.
