Favorite Quote:
“Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves, vanity to what we would have others think of us.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Flames lap at the tender skin of the innocent
Bound hands and feet
To the stake that is thrust
Through the heart of humanity
Shrill screams of incineration fall on deaf ears
The sin that is punished
Does not exist
The sin is only burned into their flesh
Their sin is ignorance
Fear of the unknown
Death for nothing
Yet they will never pay
They will be claimed
Hero
No
They are the death of-
Truth
