Silence is deadly yet blissful. Your mind starts to wander with thoughts of the past and future. Silence makes you notice the slightest thing. A bird in the distance, chirping its song on a tree branch. A child crying from the loss of a loved toy. A leaf removing itself from its home and landing gracefully on the pavement. The deadly side of silence is never a joke. Your worst thoughts come out and pound on your skull, demanding your attention. The eerie silence between two people could break you down. Especially those that are locked in isolation. Forced to drown in their own silence. Silence, that ear curdling scream of nothingness.
