Everybody Lies
There's a time for love and laughter
There's a time for despair and hate
Regrets and lies are the first to come
When trying to run away
Hatred and agony come with a price
You walk out with your shoulders pulled back
And your head held high
You tell a lie that comes so easy to mind
You tell her that you're not afraid of the future and what it holds
Same old people, same old lies
You cannot wait to say goodbye
With your footsteps so far behind you
You wait to see if someone comes
But you already know
That nobodies going to be coming tonight
The later you wait, the harder it becomes
The quicker the pace
The harder the breath
You cannot live a lie thats starting to feel like a race
The bridge is under your feet
You get up on the ledge
Hold your hands out to your sides
And take a flying leap!
You're 6 feet under now
With your hands held tight
Your coffin is pristine
Pearly white
Your family is here
So are your friends
But they'll never know
I kept my secret 'till the end...
