Neverland is a sheet of tinsel
Wrapped in a blanket of snow
that rests on the eyelashes
and turns cheeks rosy.

It is the red robin whistling
a golden tune of Beethoven,
and the wind that dances to the song.

It is the twinkle of a star
that land son the Earth
like an explosion from a
firework.

It is the kiss of sugar sweet lips
and the softness of a bed of roses
that smell like perfume
and love.

No one can leave there.

No one can get there.

We are just
Stuck
In the land of
Musings.

The author's comments:
I cannot fully describe this poem. I wanted to capture that fantastical element of life, those "neverland" experiences we all have. This is really the musings of life.
