People will use you
People will cheat you
People will break you
But a wise person will never lash back
A wise person will turn the other cheek
A wise person will let their light shine to make the world a little less dark

I really like this poem, and it flows nicely. Though it might be nice to use some other words for "turn the other cheek" and "let their light shine" as those are a little bit cliché.

I agree that it might be better in two stanzas. It would be more organized and would emphasiza the difference between the two kinds of people.

You captured the love and hate in this poem for sure. I think you can turn this poem into two stanzas when the tone changes, from hate to love.
