Homework's hard
And grades are rough,
Stress is building,
Life is tough.
Too many things
Screaming at me;
I just need some time
To sit and be free -
Free from worry,
Free from pain,
Free from failure,
Free from shame.
I want Your peace;
I need it now.
Without You here
I don’t know how
I could survive
This life alone.
In fact, I couldn’t -
So I’m coming back home.
When life gets hard,
And times get tough,
I know You’re there
And that’s enough.
