Glisten like embers
Focused on finding the light in the tunnel
Like the fire from a phoenix
His heart yearned for another
A girl in an empty world
His lips they smell of brandy
His arms wide open
Each embrace warm and inviting
Soothing
Intoxicating
Quick quivers in faith
Each heart beat rhythmic
“I love you”
Souls intertwine so beautiful
Lost with no direction
Made from gods' imperfection
Satan himself might weep
In the eyes of one another they were perfect
