I guess it goes both ways
Memory blocks when I am protected
Fear when I remember
Hate when I remember

Strong words for the chaplain

Hold your symbol sticks up to the dark
Never fear my blazing spark
I don't believe the fire is cold
It burns high, it burns low

Defiance has chosen

Brother's gone back to it
I don't know what made him choose it
What makes them feel alive
Makes it laugh, makes me hurt

Rid of the bricks again

Red rolls black on white
Three colours I always use
From flicking in one direction
Fingers learn to move

Now it's getting old
I don't understand the depths
I'm sure I could still teach myself
The art and cunning of self-theft

The author's comments:
I don't understand those who choose the same mistake I did before.
And even if they claim it wasn't a mistake,
They have yet to convince me.
