mind cloaked
borders erased
lines grow tiring and thin
as number wax
shallow breath betrays
the lack of listeners
squint, no pronoun
can label the
spinning vision
surroundings divvolve
as self dissipates
entering the room
invisible, the heat
settles where my skin used to be
love finds no purchase
in the slick surface of fear
