Only the Light Gets In

There’s this abyss that haunts me
It’s deep and desperate and carefree
It’s so dark that nothing can be seen
Except for the sliver of light, so wonderfully pristine
Oh how it glows so effortlessly
Shining bright in this vast abyss
It’s like this courageous blind star
Darkly begging for a long kiss.
