The orchestra has arrived
Individual sounds of excitement,
Chords of anger and sadness.
Detached notes of anxiety,
And legato tones of tranquility.
The ensemble commences.
Violins raise their deep voices,
Piano keys fall into a series of soft tinkles.
Flutes let out their windswept melody,
Alongside the blows of harmonious trumpets.
Surreptitiously, the bass creeps in,
Creating a low hum,
Against the big voices of the violin.
The piece rises to a crescendo,
With subtle waves of decrescendo.
The orchestra has arrived...
