The Photographer
Loitering around with nothing to do
A fabulous sight catches your eye
It's a figure, sitting lithe with a tome
And a rainbow is floating on her cheeks.
You instruct her to shift her position.
She looks into the sun, and her eyes are glowing green.
Years' worth of poison in a single glare
Unintended, but the light brings it out.
 Click.

Then she closes the book in her lap.
Her lily face turns ever so slightly.
The colors are pink and soft blue on her cheeks.
Her expression is gentle, like she looks upon a young animal fondly.
The pink-and-blue waves as if in the wind.
 Click.

The climax is when her chin drops slightly
And seven colors are on her sweet face!
Red blends to orange to yellow to green
Blue, indigo, purple- together but separate
She is daring, dazzling, beautiful, creative, kind, and intelligent.
 So says the magnificent light.
