It'll be alright
There’s a pain we will all feel
Whether it’s fake or whether it’s real
Whether we can walk the night, feeling it’s right
Filled with fright,
If we ever live or if we die.
But hey, death ain’t that scary you know
Whether it’s fast, or whether it’s really slow.
Why do we have to feel this way
With nothing to say
Without a doubt in our minds
You know I’m right.
But here I am, crying out in pain
With nothing to gain
It’s better then being lost in the rain
It’s goin away.
I’m lost in this storm
All the signs are down and gone
My hands are in the air
I’m screaming “NO MORE!”
I’m dying, tears on my face
Why can’t someone be in my place
My lungs are burning
I can’t finish this race.
Yeah, my body is aching and sore
My heart can’t take no more
My wings cannot fly
I’m unable to score.
Loss has gotten a hold on me
It’s killing me
I’m being buried alive
But no one can see.
Without some of this pain
What is there to gain?
I hate feeling this way
But someone’s gotta say,
It’ll be alright.
