When I told you, you laughed at the thought.
You said, “Where ya going?”
I just go along with it.

When I told you, you gave me that look.
The look that told me you weren’t expecting it to last long
I just go along with it.

You may think I’m crazy;
But I don’t care.
I just go along with it.

We will prove them wrong.
We will conquer this.
I will no longer…
Just go along with it.

The author's comments:
I wrote this based on the way, my mother and father figure looked at me when I told them I was dating someone who lives all the way in Arizona; which is all the way across the country. But then I realized that this could be for something more than just my situation. It could fit someone else who is trying to follow their dreams as well.
