And She Thought..
He said, “Well, aren’t you sweet”
And she looked down at her feet…
…(She believed in the galaxy
Of love
Dreamed of a forgiving world
She craved the escape within the deep beyond
Her mind wondered to find doubt within
To confess she was a mess would’ve damaged her drive
She’d found disappointment corrupt deep inside
Searched for the secrets of the vast unknown
She found that creating herself meant to be more alone
Been teased the goals of her own religion
Reminded it’s a hard world we all try to live in
Realized how much time has past,
Finally realized in the end she must become her own hero at last
Only because everyone else was trying to save themselves.
Then she pondered the depths of her compromised soul
probably reconsidered the path
She needed to regain control.
Defined- that there was only sometimes instead of always
and consumed of unmindful wishes
She felt unforgiven
Fury filled her lungs
Like monsters and their tongues
Adjusting into what she had become
And became uncertain of what she had committed to
It was too late, she was too far gone
Devoured all she had
And that feeling of just waiting
waiting to get ‘home’ to be more sad
to just let everything out that you kept in all day
that feeling of relief and desperation astray
Nothing is wrong
But nothing is right either
and she was tired
Tired of everything,
Tired of nothing
and she just wanted someone to be there
But no one was going to be here
and she knew she had to be strong for herself
because no one could fix themself
But she was tired of waiting
Tired of being the one to fix herself and everyone else
Tired of being strong
For once for it to be easy
To be simple
To be helped
To be saved
But she knew she wouldn’t be
The night you gave up on her,
She gave up on her too.
Depression had one and that’s it, She was done.
Because In the dead of night her eyelids were heavy
But her thoughts were heavier.
Perhaps she was numb then.)…
A warm tear ran down her face. She looked up and she hugged him.
