Lovely Game
Dangerous little games we play,
To find the one we love.
Pieces on a board we stay,
Until we are moved and shoved.
So many things that lie in wait,
We sometimes lose our way.
At times it seems its almost fate,
To wander far astray.
Large cold hands guide us,
From block to block, piece by piece.
Grabbing cards at random, must
They all have hearts of beasts?
Always being poked and prodded,
Being moved this way and that.
Love is a dangerous game we play,
Am I only one tired of it?
