Welcome to the freedom of mange,
With bells of rust and bells of platinum,
Here the innocents kept giving milk,
Caused the blood to drain from their brave.

Using broken peasants to pay for silk
That gave the czar his silver yarn.
Gluttony required more new tricks,
Sent starving curs to thread-bare bed.

Winter weighed down their chains;
Snow carved undeniable kennels.
Lenin stood and broke their training
Armed with rusted guns to gnaw.

To tear away Romanov fleas,
Stop infamy from tainting cream,
To assassinate the pampered pets.

Strays mended into golden collars,
Fed frosted lead to Russian Blues,
Chewed on meaty bones of orphans,
Lost children to thicken their hides.
