You never were as beautiful as when you were mine
I look at you now but you don't seem quite right
There is something less amazing about you
Now that I know your words were not true
My memories of you shine with your joy
But that now I know all I was to you was a toy
When I look at your pictures of after that day
You don't smile at the camera in the same way
Your eyes look crossed, your smile is forced
Your nose is larger than it was before
Your moles no longer are charming
The change is honestly slightly alarming
I miss the way you were before that day
The day that you decided to shove me away
Your eyes were bright, your smile filled with joy
You have changed since then to a different boy
The boy I knew was filled with a love that shone bright
But who I see in these photographs is more dark than light
I am afraid to have loved such a terror
How could I have made such an error?
I must have been blinded by your gentle, calming caress
The sweet nothings you whispered to me, meant to impress
They did their job and so now you have taken my love
Now please set it free, for you are the cage
And I am the dove

I found a picture of my ex with his current girlfriend of his on his Facebook. I still love him because we broke up quite recently. This is what followed.
