Lights becoming shadows
Shadows becoming darkness
The walls are screaming
Hands grasping skin
Skin giving way to muscle
Underneath the red and blue of exposed vulnerability
Under the mask of the human face
Lies marrow, porcelain against the ugliness
The darkness eats away
Escape route blocked by scales and knives
Dress painted ruby
Lace ripped
The walls are screaming
Armor long gone
Tangled web of false reassurances
Fallen
The darkness eats away
