Writers Block
Writers block
Like a dam on the mind
 Blocking creativity
 A cage
 A dark prison
 Removing creative freedom
 Searching for the keys
To the shackles on my thoughts
 Yet it remains
 I have lost myself
 In this suffocating darkness
 This worsening plague
 It can not be quelled
My head is full of dying thoughts
My head feels as if it will swell

 Finally, at last
 A wondrous time
 This plague has released
its iron grip on my mind
 I have gained great freedom
 Control of my thoughts
 But only time will tell
How long this demon of thought
 Will remain in this state
 Dormant, sleeping, and weak
