I can't think
my mind is numb
my heart is pained
and pumping fast beneath
my very own hot sticky skin
I can't breathe
I want the pain to end
I want the voices to stop
I'm drowning

I'm practically shouting
I'm hitting the surface with
hard kicking screams
but you don't care
Why should you care?
you have yourself to worry about
that's what us humans do
we're so selfish
so helpless

I want to be happy

If I do

I won't think beautiful
creative thoughts
