Please do not call yourself trash

Because you are the furthest thing from it

You have more potential than an acorn

And more beauty than the tree into which it grows,

One day you will have more wisdom than Socrates

More knowledge than Pythagoras

And more power than Zeus.

Please, do not call yourself trash,

Call yourself bold

Call yourself intelligent

Call yourself courageous

Call yourself kind

Please,

Do Not

Call

Yourself

Trash.

Because, if you are trash,

I am toxic waste

Waiting hundreds of years

Striving to be like you.
