Danger to society

There are so many people in the world
So many problems
Too little solutions
Out there in the real world
There are real people with real issues
They have excuses, bad experiences, traumitizations
There are murderers, stealers, druggies, and thugs
Real people who were forced to grow for survival
No chance to be a child in the real world
Only adults are allowed in the real world

So why am I here?

Why am I the way I am?
Straight A student, Perfect attendance
Bible Belt Christian family, friends, college town
Why do I feel trapped?
I have no excuses
Stuck halfway between heaven and hell
Why did it have to be me?
Why did I have to grow up?
But I’m relieved to see blue now
How naïve I was
All of my “friends” are immature
Is this the way I was?
All of my music is obnoxiously loud
Is this how it used to be?
What was I like?
I need the truth
I want to run away and see the world
Escape the hell of a childhood my head has made
But I’m trapped
Or am I held in place by the distant memory of a strike
People say I’m cold hearted
But what if I’ve seen betrayal
I see people around me give away secrets to strangers
Only to be broken down by their own hand later
What if I don’t want people to talk about me?
Isn’t it easier to know everyone hates you
Rather than a few opinionated people
No need to sort out the black from the white sheep
Because I only allow black sheep around me
And yet with all that glorious black telling me to take the grimm end
What Is stopping the blade from taking me
What is wrong with me

People say teens like me are dangers to society
Is that all I am?
