Speak Up
Shadows dance on the walls
As a hand wraps around my mouth
Shadows of trees come to life holding me down
Silent screams fill the air but it seems as if no one seemed to care
Roots twist up devouring my body
Leaving only a silent but innocent soul
 Tears fill my eyes
While a blossom of a memory sprouts up into my mind
A memory of an unknown man
And a memory of being locked up in a van
The roots of my soul disintegrate leaving only a faint memory
But it seems as if you have locked up my voice with a key
 My heart throbs with pain
As the center of the tree grows in vain
 No one was near
 Or even there to hear
My silent but deadly screams still remain unheard
Leaving me feeling as if this was all absurd
It seems as if you have cut me down
 Branch by branch
 Leaving only a frown
It was there I was to lose my innocence
But I still wonder where has my tree grown ever since
And where will it grow to
 If only they knew
