Brown Eyes
Brown Eyes. I have to write this,
although I know at least a friend will laugh-
They scare me dearly, brown eyes do.
Oh come on, Don’t laugh.
You see I do like them on boys,
Don’t get me wrong there-
It’s when I see them staring that they often raise a hair,
I rather like their darkness,
But what I don’t like is when they look back-
Because how am I to tell what flits across the screen of those eyes that Lack?
I know there’s something deep inside when they stare intensely,
but it’s their densely packed intensity that’s hard to read intensely!
How do I know what they want,
Or what they’re searching for,
Especially when my bluer hue makes it that much clearer for?
