Friendship's a joke
Friendship
It’s a chore.
You take out the trash, clean your room,
hang out with “friends”.
That’s what it is now;
something that needs to be finished.
You need friends to be happy,
to be normal.
It’s not fun
to pretend,
that you so dearly enjoy the company of the girl who
hates you,
and will leave you.
But you still put on a show.
I do too.
Because it’s normal.
Normal is having friends.
Normal is laughing with someone while politely bring them down
It’s sad. Right?
But then again,
chores need to be done,
to be checked off;
so you can go back to your screen.
No, It’s not sad.
It’s just another thing
they tell us is normal
