A Mind Full Of Memories
I lie awake at night with a mind full of memories. A story line of past and present. Fantasies of the future. But sometimes I find them annoying. They play games and mess with me giving me a headache. Flooding in information that I can't forget the memories that I purposely repressed to the back of my mind to keep them hidden from my conscious. Now they are rushing rivers full of tears that flow through my mind. They stay in my mind and devour my sanity. Luckily I have the good memories to balance out the bad. The dance around in my head and give me strength. I will never understand why they choose the oddest time to start flowing. When I want to sleep they want to dance. When I want the good I get the bad. I will forever have strength and hope dancing around inside my head.
