A tiger
Of
The most ferocious heart
His coat
A silky black
Like the waters of the night
There was once
A lion
Of
The most kindest heart
His coat
A blinding white
Like the snow of the day
There was once
A tiger
Whose tribe
Left him to die
A deep onyx
In the heart
Of a dark, green, forest
There was once
A lion
Whose mother
Took him along
A brightly lit pearl
Into the red
Of a setting sunset
Then there was
The cat
Left behind
And then there was
The cat
Taken along
Into the depths
Into the truth
Into the life
Of the people
