The past lingers
Above her
A trap
She can never escape
Forever longing
Forever dying
Through the edge of the wind
And the echo of the trees
She wonders
If she will ever be free
From her mind
From her life
This maze around her
A rapid cyclonic trap
For she will never escape
The lies
That hold
In these trying times
So darling
Listen to me
As I say
Fly away
Look towards the sky
And lift up your wings
My child
My angel
You can finally
Break free
She lets go of her past
And the voices release
My child
My angel
There is hope in me
