Its just another normal day,
You take a walk around the park,
People smile and wave your way,
Dogs in the neighborhood just bark,
The weather is nice - its cool but warm,
Not a hint of an approaching storm,
You're done with work so you can rest,
You even aced yesterday's test,

You dont appreciate the little things you have until they're gone,
You study for so long so you dont fall sleep until its dawn,
You get into a fight with your best friend,
You feel the worlds' coming to an end,
It rains all day and rains all night,
You lay in bed (thoughts filled with fright),
You wish the perfect days would just come back,
When your world wasn't all that black.
